Anastaisha: Golden Beauty Interview

Beauty Holding: Congratulations on becoming the next Golden Beauty. How are you feeling?

Anastaisha: Thank you very much! I feel very happy, expecting that my life will change soon!

BH: What are your expectations? What kind of places you would like to travel to and jobs you would expect to get?

A: I expect working for magazines, shooting with good photographers, doing castings for shows on fashion campaigns! Most of all, I would like to work in such cities as London, New York, Paris, Milan.

BH: What kind of shoots would you like for your portfolio? High-fashion, beauty, lingerie etc?

A: I would like to have some high-fashion, beauty, retro, under fashion shots. I like different looks.

BH: Are you confident at castings? Are you tough enough to deal with rejection, which is a usual thing in the modeling world?

A: Yes, I am always confident at castings!

BH: A few words about Moscow and where you live.

A: Moscow is the centre of culture, science and business in Russia. It is filled with huge opportunities. I like the Moscovites too! They are very kind, sympathetic, hospitable, civilised and well-educated. They read everywhere, even in the underground! This city is very beautiful, and it has many fountains, monuments, museums and theatres. I live in the Western part of the city, near the Moscow River and a forest. It is an amazing piece of nature in the centre of an industrial city!

BH: You are currently a full-time student. When do you think you would be ready to take a break from your studies to start your engagement year with Beauty Holding?

A: I am ready to do it from the end of January or at the beginning of February. I would take a sabbatical at my university.

BH: Please tell us what you are studying and why. Do you enjoy it?

A: I study Political Science at the most renowned University in Russia, the Lomonosov University in Moscow. I study topics such as collective security, cross-cultural communications and data exchange, regional conflicts, history of diplomacy and so on. I like it as all these issues are very relevant to our life. Politics concerns us every day. I think it is very important to try resolving all problems by peaceful means.

BH: Your favourite fashion designers and brands?

A: I like Prada, her classic style and bags! Also Armani costumes and Chanel with her little black dresses. And I think that Valentino makes the best dresses! At the same time, my motto can be summarised in the words by A.P. Chekhov: "Everything should be first-rate in a person: his face, clothes, soul and thoughts".

BH: Your best modeling jobs so far.

A: I have done an Emporio Armani show during the Milan fashion week, and shows for Lie Sang Bong, Malandrino, Yudashkin, Philip Treacy. I have done shootings for Cosmopolitan and Elle.

BH: Are you not scared of living independently and on your own, away from your family and home?

A: Of course not! I have lived apart from my parents many times!

BH: How are you feeling physically? What are, if any, your concerns or worries about your body and shape?

A: I feel great about my body!

A: Have you had any problems with bulimia or anorexia?

A: No, never.

BH: What is your message to your Sponsors and other Models in the Golden Beauty Race?

A: I want to tell to my Sponsors a BIG THANK YOU for supporting and believing in me! And for all the Models: "always believe in yourself and everything will be perfect in your life!"
